Feeling Nostalgic -- Memoir Literature

Opening Ceremony at the 10th Hong Kong Literature Festival -- Feeling Nostalgic
It's my pleasure to join the opening ceremony at the 10th Hong Kong Literature Festival -- Feeling Nostalgic. This is my favorite backdrop in the exhibition. It isn't be specified what is it, probably memory is unique to everyone. It appears to me like the Drawer of Memory, in which we may get connected with one or two lines casting the shadow of our personal history.

What's Hong Kong Literature? Mix. Fusion. Cantonese Literature.

In Ya Si's Postcolonial Affairs of Food and the Heart, food fusion and cultural identity are depicted. Given that food is closely connected to culture, the attitude of people towards food reflect their views on cultural identity, whether they accept purity or not.

Identity concerns everybody, whereas the complicated formation of Hong Kong's cultural identity is always a debatable issue in Hong Kong, and guess it concerns to other multicultural places.

Cantonese and Hong Kong Chinese is generally regarded as the medium of language in the festival. This is the festival of Hong Kong as the memoir literature of Hong Kong.
